When applying to a position with the Federal NDP, I developed a sample multichannel social media strategy to better engage with progressive voters in Québec, along with a storyboard for a suggested series of video content.
The main goals of the campaign were to: engage with progressive voters in the province; create awareness of the party’s policies and platform; create awareness of and familiarity with the party leader; develop messaging that communicates an inclusive, diverse party; and create content that can be repurposed across the country/in English. The target audience was primarily progressive and questioning Québecois voters 18-30, and secondarily progressive Québecois voters that are early adopters of new social media technologies/heavy social media users. Though I did not end up in the position, the strategy and content hit the key points the party wanted.
